    Okay so I've been dieting and exercising but I've had some real issues with the whole 'junk food in moderation' thing. I know that it's simple- eat healthy most of the time and treat yourself occasionally. The problem with me is junk food is an addiction for me. The cravings hit and I CAN'T get it off my mind, I get irritable and impatient and it's always the 'just this once' but it happens EVERYDAY, and I over do it too and eat way too much. It's just like when you quit smoking, you cant just have a smoke a few times a week, then the cravings never go away. Is that like junk food? Should I cut it out until I don't extremely crave it and think about it constantly? Or would that be 'depriving myself' and wouldn't work? I really need someone with experience to help me out, please. Only from experience.

    I'm a junk food addcit, and I'm not fat. look at my picture. Sure I'm overweight, but not fat.Your fine! all I eat is junk food!

    Commit yourself to having some form of treat every day. Make it a plan. Don't over think it. This way, junk food becomes every day, and you don't get intense cravings & go overboard on it. Because it's every day. It becomes not exciting, not significant over time. This will actually eliminate cravings. Trust me, I've actually read this in atleast 2 fitness novels I've bought. It sounds a bit backwards, but, truly, it works. I don't have cheat days, and I managed to lose 45lbs. Instead, I had a treat (small one, like a small bowl of ice cream, 1 rice chrispie square, 1/3 a chocolate bar, 2 cookies, etc) a day. I never WANTED to overreat on something bad, and the treat-a-day kept me on my diet. More importantly, it was a LIFETSYLE I could adopt. Not a quick-fix weight loss tactic.

    I lost 40 pounds in 3 months
    I will give you the hardest yet best advice there is. Stop drinking pop and eating fast food! Im telling you, it'll do wonders. Drink a glass of water every time you get those cravings. I can say that when I gave up all that the first week was pure hell, I'd get head aches, I would crave every thing coming and going it was terrible but I look a lot better now. I can say that nothing taste better then being skinny! :) Good luck to ya.
