2006-01-18 07:05:04Yes but there are many side effects. Nervousness etc... In addition it is temporary weight loss. The minute you go back to normal eating you'll gain it all back. Your best bet is to just learn how to eat properly.

Answer:What over the counter weight loss drugs really work
2006-01-18 07:03:45Honestly. None really. They may dissolve some fat, but it does nothing to reduce your metabolism which is part of the problem of being overweight. The best way to lose weight, is to exercise. And I don't mean to run and get a full gym membership or anything. My dad lost 65 pounds by walking. Just walking. He didn't diet at all, he just took an hour every night and lost the weight. Sure it takes a little while, but it'll be good for your body, your mind, and if you really go every day, it'll become a habit and the weight will come off. When you can walk an hour comfortably, try walking father. Nothing too extreme, just remain comfortable. It really works!
Answer:What over the counter weight loss drugs really work
2006-01-18 07:07:01None. Check any drug, it probably has caffeine in it which will only make you lose water weight, which is gained back as soon as you put food in you mouth. All these weight loss products just make you gain back any weight you lost, faster and heavier because your body thinks it's starving itself so it holds on to whatever fat you eat.
The best thing is: (I know it's hard to hear it) diet and exercise! I suggest you do it with friends or family it's the best motivation (or competition, if you're competitive) you could ever have. I speak from experience.
