I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. My tests are all normal, but do experience slight insulin resistance (I have gained 10 lbs over a year a half). Ii am currently taking 1500 mgs of met. a day and have been on it for about ten days. I have lost a few lbs (3). I am relatively thin to begin with (5ƍ" and 145)...but am looking to get back to my original weight (135). How long does it usually take to see weight loss with met.? Does it happen right away or take a while?
