Ask:Question about weight gain loss
2006-08-31 20:01:40I have a screwed up eating cycle... where I eat pretty much nothing all day (no appetite from habit/anxiety), but at night.. I'm very hungry and eat quite a bit. However, there's still no way I'm eating 2000 calories in a day .. which I presume I'm also burning.
Therefore, the question is.. if I'm eating at night and then going to sleep, is that going to turn into fat since I'm not going to burn much while sleeping - or will my body still burn it off to compensate for the lack of calories earlier in the day? I was under the presumption that eating less calories than you burn = loss of weight.
Answer:Question about weight gain loss
2006-08-31 20:29:20If you don't eat for a while your body comes to the conclusion that you are starving and will store the fat, therefor making you gain weight. I am assuming, though not for sure, that when you come home and splurge it is not healthy food. You need to take vitamins and eat healthy. You probably don't have a good appetite because you are not eating healthy and are not getting enough vitamins. This can make you feel tired, make you have mood swings, and can hurt your body badly. This is the only body that you get, you need to take care of it. Vitamins will increase your appetite. Also, you need to eat 3 small meals a day and 2 healthy small snacks in between, it will make you feel so much better and believe it or not help you control your weight. Most proffessionals recommend that you not eat past 8 p.m.
