2008-08-06 13:24:40I love carbs ???. Carbs are your friend. You need them to survive. You can't possibly eat a lot of bacon and crap and expect to lose weight. Eat good sources of protein (i.e. not bacon), like lean chicken and lean meats, a lot of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, etc. And exercise!!

Lots of chicken, green veggies ie: broccoli, romaine lettuce.
Turkey Burgers are awesome, no bun though.
Fish, I like tilapia and salmon. If you have a George Foreman grill, great for cooking burgers & fish with.
The best yogurt on the market is Dannon light & fit, low carbs.
Low fat cottage cheese.
Rice cakes are a good snack too.
My regular diet consists of all of these foods. I lost 15 lbs in a few months. It works.
Of course any kind of exercise is better than no exercise.

2008-08-06 13:42:21Carbs are food items like bread, pasta and potatoes. Loading up on those items will cause weight gain. Try to avoid sugar, too. Sugar will create fat incredibly fast.
Walk 20-30 minutes every day on an empty stomach (either first thing in the morning or before dinner) and the fat will melt away.
