2011-09-03 18:07:18 +0000Well there are lots of different schools for raw diets. Some do diets that are very high in fat, which is no good. A good place to start if you're interested is by reading the 80/10/10 diet by Doug Graham.
The book is very thorough and compelling, but basically the aim of the diet is to get 80% (minimum) of your calories from fruit and veggies, 10%(max) from protein, and 10%(max) from fat.
Not only will you lose excess weight but you will have the benefit of amazing health while being able to eat as much as you like and not restrict calories.
