    I would love to at least lose 2 pounds a week.. and I am also eating healthy, and doing toning excersizes.. but cardio is the key to weight loss so will a 4mile run or 8 mile walk be enough for a two pound a week weight loss?

    Well better than runing or walking why dont u use HIIT its HIgh Interval Intensity Training
    Its proved to lose weight fast coz it makes ur metabolism faster which burns more calories of fat

    if you were to run, my advice to you would be to walk for 20 minutes BEFORE running and then run the 4 miles because the first 20 minutes of exercising is just burning water weight. so if you run a 10 minute mile that's 2 miles which isn't burning calories, only water weight. of course you have to walk at a fast pace or else its really not doing anything. hope that helps :)

    You need to get your heart rate up to a certain range, then you should keep it there or above for 20 to 45 minutes to do any good.

    That depends on if your in shape or not. If your just starting out, go slow and build your self up to where you want to be. 45 min. at a brisk walk and then 15 min on weights a day should get you the results that you want. It has worked for me

    Any kind of exercise is better than nothing. If you're just starting out with an exercise regimine, then I'd reccomend long walks (atleast 30 minutes) about a 1/2 hour after you eat dinner. Eat several times throughout the day (healthy) instead of 1 large dinner meal. Drink lots of water. Cardio isn't the key to weightloss. Cardio is healthy, but not necessarily the key. Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat so you may see an actual weight gain as you begin to exercise. Good luck!

    Walking a brisk walk will burn just as many collieries by just adding 10 minutes pr. hour. Every body thinks you have to run. That just isn't so.
    There are 7 times more joint pain and 5 times more joint surgery with running as oppose to walking.
    Just add 1o minutes to a brisk walk each hour, three to four times a week.
    Walk don't run !!! Don't listen to the jogging jerks.

    well, i would definitely reccomend walking exercise for weight loss...
    you can also try the following diet regimen:
    1. try to eat 5 small meals perday instead of taking 3 large meals...
    2. eat lots of fruits + veggies and try to dress it with your meal...
    3. drink at least 8 glasses of water...
    4. exercise daily or day after day...but i reccomend you to go for walking...walk about 15 minutes in the morning, try to use the stairs instead of elevator, if you use a car, you can then park it a bit far way and walk to your school or office...
    5. if you want to eat burger for instance you can order a small size of grilled chicken intead...
    6. if you dream for having a pizza, you can order the smallest size that is full of onions, mushroom, pepper, and less cheese...
    7. pamper yourself once a week with your favorite meal...
    8. in terms of snacks take fruits, yogurt, veggies or any healthy stuff...try to avoid salty food such as chips..but if you dream for having chips, you should then go for packed potato as it is less salty...
