2008-11-10 17:48:50Hey- I'm looking for some short (half an hourish: or at least less than an hour a day), at-home weight-loss exercises. I don't have much equipment- just a weight bench (missing the leg part) and some weights (obviously). It doesn't have to be instant results- just something that will prevent me from gaining and weight, and lose some as well. I know diet is important too- I think I eat pretty healthy, no fast food or anything- but what are some good, healthy snacks? I generally end up eating some cookies or chips or something, which I'm sure isn't helping.

2008-11-10 17:55:31Yogurt covered almonds can be found in most healthfood sections of the store. They're more of a sweet treat that still contain a lot of protein, for when you're craving something with a little more sugar, but they are also beneficial.
Nuts in general including pine nuts and soy nuts are normally known to curb your appetite and give you a healthy helping of proteins oils.
Of course fruits are great as snacks but try to get what is in season. It will ensure the quality of the fruit and the fruit will probably have been grown with less chemicals if it IS in season.
Seeds, like nuts, are good to eat.
But over all, try to avoid snacking and really focus on your meals. If you eat proper meals you will have less desire for snacks.
