Answer:what are some good weight loss pills
2007-10-01 10:58:57Remember, there is no magic pill....yet.
The most important thing that can help you lose weight is motivation. It starts from your inner belief that you can and will lose weight, go slowly and steadily, and you will lose the weight.
You don't want to lose the weight too fast - i.e. more than 1-2kg per week. Aim for a healthy 0.25-0.5kg per week. This is because it is easier to keep off the lower weight loss. If you decide to work your butt off and go on a crash diet for one week, you may crash and burn the next week because of all the cravings that your body needs from the excessive exercise and also the tiredness you feel when your muscles finally catch up with you.
Ask yourself these questions: "How much time in a day do I spend exercising?" "What types of food do I eat?" "How many sit-ups am I doing?" "What other types of exercises am I doing?"
To lose weight, you need to be doing exercise that can actually make you lose weight. Walking alone is not enough to lose weight. You may have injured your leg but that doesn't mean that your three other limbs have stopped working as well. You can go for low-impact aerobics classes or have a personal trainer who can teach you what types of exercises you can do to help you lose weight. You can also try swimming or other medium-impact water sports. Always remember that an exercise regimen that doesn't cause you to sweat or at least feel warm/hot is not going to be making you burn the calories.
You should also do these exercises for at least 30-45 minutes a day for 5 days a week. I would not recommend counting housework, walking to buy groceries, washing, cleaning, etc into the 30-45 minutes.
What is your normal diet like? Does it include five serves of vegetables and three serves of fruits? What is your sugar intake like? How much protein, carbohydrates and fats/oils do you have per day? Carbohydrates, especially low-GI ones, are very important to keep you full and energetic throughout the whole day. Low-GI foods are very important as they release energy slowly and constantly, providing you with enough energy to last you a while after you've had your meal.
Limit the amount of sugar you are having with your coffee/tea/other drinks. Use less oil in your cooking - bake, roast or steam instead of stir-frying, pan-frying or deep frying. Meats such as beef or lamb contain much more fats than chicken or fish.
Remember, motivation is the key. You may need some support and I believe there are many support groups out there for people wanting to lose weight. Get a friend or friends to come out and power walk with you in the morning, go for a group exercise program, learn new recipes from weight-loss support groups, forums, websites.
Try these first before you turn to weight-loss pills. Most of them are not worth the money you pay for them.
As long as you work hard and strive for a realistic goal, and keep something in your mind to motivate you (like looking good for your wedding), you can do it.
Good luck!

2007-10-01 07:02:14Eliminate 100 calories a day ( a minimal sacrifice) and you should lose 1 lb per month.
That combined with weight training ( which tones and tightens as well as speeds the metabolism) along with your sit ups could easily net you 2 lbs per month in a permanent healthy way , rather than using pills.
