2007-11-06 21:08:46One of my good friends is trying to lose weight. I'm worried about her, because I think she is doing it in an unhealthy way. She skips meals and takes diet pills. I've suggested that she burn more calories than she takes in and toss out the diet pills, but she claims she doesn't have time for exercise. I'm very worried. Does anyone have any healthy ideas I could suggest to her? Thank you!

Running,walking, jogging, biking, swimming, dancing,SKIPPING are all great things to do to burn calories and get rid of that fat. Just do them often and challenge yourself. Don't slop like a couch potato and watch tv. Don't drive your car unless it's for shopping.
get a Canadian food guide off the internet personalized to your age. Treat yourself every 3 weeks. My definition of treat: (1) 100 calorie chocolate bar OR 1 bowl of BAKED not fried chips with low salt. Then walk or run it off. Drinks: pulp orange juice, 3 glasses of milk, 8-10 glasses of water a day. (2 water bottles full if you run or jog or walk long distances) Take a shower after each end of the day to prevent from muscle sores. Eat salads or homemade sanwiches with WHOLE WHEAT bread. No foods with MSG on the ingredient label. After you lose the pounds/fat start with my workout plan:
100 situps
100 crunches
50 push ups (do by tens, rest ten rest ten rest etc.)
100 pikes
lift 3-5 pound weights 200 timesx4
