2007-07-30 19:35:09I don't do much during the summer and i tend to find myself sitting around eating icecream on hot days in my house. Lately i've put on a little weight. I noticed it when me and my friends went to buy some new late summer clothes, and I picked out shorts that were my usual size but I couldn't get them over my legs and thighs. Shirts are no good either, my stomach is bigger and sticks out more so i need to lose weight now, because i don't like having to buy so much bigger clothes.

2007-07-30 19:46:56You already know what the problem is--quit eating so much ice cream! Get in the habit of drinking ice water when you're hot. It actually burns calories! Fruit and salad are also good summer choices.
And exercise! Go jogging in the evening or early morning if it's too hot during the day, or run on a treadmill or other machine indoors if you have one. Weight training is also beneficial. Good luck!

2007-07-30 19:38:10Working with weights would help but for you i know what you could do, run around your block 1 or 2 depending on what you want to look like and then cut down on snacks and more healthy foods i already lost 4 pounds and look much more slim!
