Once you've started eating healthy foods, then add additional snacks that will provide additional, nutritious calories. For example, add a fruit smoothie as a snack each day. Make it with milk, yogurt, and fruit in a blender and add ice. It will taste like a milkshake but provide extra calories. In addition, eat snacks that are higher in healthier fats. Choose things such as nuts and peanut butter. These items provide nutrition as well as calories. If you eat empty calories such as potato chips then you'll wreck your skin. Be active, not to lose weight but to tone up. Start a strength training program. You don't need to go buy a lot of equipment. Use what you can find around the house. Be creative! Good luck!
