i just received my Taboodia/Hoodia capsules. I was wondering if any has tried them and do they really work?

If Taboodia does anything, it won't be the hoodia that is doing it. These pills only contain 100 mg. of hoodia, I don't know how in the world that would do anything.
When you are done with those pills get some hoodia with 750 to 1000 mg. You will have the best chance of hoodia suppressing your appetite if you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. These Hoodia brands have the credentials to back up their product. Also in that column it will indicate if the brand is "Returnable".
