    So I was thinking of running everyday on the treadmill for 30 mins, and ive already changed my diet to a healthier one. And Ive only been drinking water, nothing else. Also, ive been doing some weight lifting, will i lose muscle? or will I get toned? and How long do you think ill see results?

    if you go to bodyforlife.com you can see before and after photos of people that followed the plan for 90 days. Then go to the library section of their free site to see the meal and exercise plan. You do not have to drink protein shakes you can just replace it with a small meal instead.

    this is a common question at my work (i work at a gym)
    1. if you wanna loose weight do 45 minutes to an hour of cardio ( mix in running and eliptical work)
    2. getting toned should be the last of your worries right now, once you start dropping weight then worry about getting tone

    James, don't worry about what Deara said. Yes you will lose "weight" from your colon, however,
    you are on a good plan, but if i may make a few suggestions:
    run on the treadmill for 60 minutes every other day (that is the recomended amount of cardio) and on the off days of running 60 mins, do 20 mins, but run harder for the twenty mins than the 60. the 60 make a brisk jog, for the 20 minute days do a faster "run."
    im not sure of your weight loss goals, but eat about 45 minutes after you run, as your metabolism will remain high, and you will burn through that food, thus boosting your metabolism for a longer period of time.
