    I am about 60 pounds overweight and I have decided to make it a priority to lose every bit of it. I am beginning the South Beach Diet, and currently working with a trainer to get me on a workout plan that includes cardio and individualized toning exercises. Does anyone have any additional tips that can help kickstart my weight loss?? I am ready to start feeling good again!

    It sounds like you are on the right track, one thing I would recommend is to start out by setting daily goals, and weekly goals. Remember that you getting to this point did not happen over night, it took some time....so will your nutrition and fitness program!
    Another piece of advice even when you say "I'm too tired to go to the gym", go anyway!!!! You will feel good about yourself when you are finished. Its sooooo important to be dedicated to your diet and fitness program, or it won't work.
    One thing you said really put a smile on my face "Start feeling good again". You discipline yourself and you will.
    Begin with the end result in mind. But remember it will take many steps to get there.
    Good luck, keep focused and have fun doing it.

    Yes, I have a tip before you can start to loss weight you have to love how you are and be thankful for what is around you and be thankful for people who love you. Start with a small amort of weight goal and to much weight to loss at a time or you will be very mad if you do not get there whan you want to. Eat more fruit and veggies. Go to some weight lossing groups and get some info and people to sapport you. It helps to have people that do not care your weight but to help you loss it!!!!! It realy helps. I am 16 years old and i have alway been over weight. in January i started to loss weight to this day i have loss 46 pounds and lossing every week. do not let what your weight is stop eating!!! Good Luck

    Don't do the South Beach Diet. It makes you lose weight but it is horribly unhealthy. The best way to lose weight is eat several small meals a day, and excersize. If you are really serious, consider going vegan. If you experiement to find enough whole foods that you like to eat, you will lose weight fast.

    Ask your trainer if there is any "Zumba" or anything such as classes. Zumba is a exercising/ dancing class where you have a ton of fun. You might try it, cause' I try ed it too! Nobody singles you out or makes you do anything by yourself.
