It is customized for your own body and the food tastes great. you eat anywhere from 5-6 times a day...small portions of food of course...and excerise only 20 minutes a day...IN YOUR OWN HOME!! i was on the program for 6 weeks and lost 30 pounds...2 years later...i have kept it off! 2007-07-03 10:33:19I have also struggled for years with dieting and food. I started going to a therapist, one that specializes in food disorders. (you can have a food disorder and not be anorexic) She helped me figure out why I eat the way I do, and she helped me find my trigger food. The most important thing she taught me was intuitive eating. To connect with your body so you know when your hungry, satisfied, and stuffed. You want to stop eating when your satisfied.Honestly it hasn't been the easiest thing to do, but I am on my second week of Weight Watchers now and have lost over 5 lbs. I really couldn't attempt to lose weight until I knew why I was heading for food.Now when I wander into the kitchen to rummage through the cabinets (when I'm not hungry), I have the strength and knowledge to stop and think what I'm doing. (It works most times :)

2007-07-03 10:24:40Ok, simple. Burn more calories per day then you take in in food and you`ll HAVE to lose weight !. You don`t have to weigh your food or anything like that. If you`re really serious about it then try this put on your plate the usual amount of food that you`d normally eat -THEN - take about a quarter of it away and eat the rest. Sound simple ?, well, it IS - BUT - only if you can do it. I mean, don`t load up with extra food knowing that when you take 25% away that you`ll still be left with more than enough !. This`ll really work but only if you`re serious enough.

2007-07-03 10:31:50well, i think that you shouldn't skip meals because it doens't help, but simply lots of exercising and eating VERY healthy should do the trick. there are many foods that are healthy and light, such as fruits, veggies, and nuts. run or do sports EVERYDAY FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR!!!!!!!!!!! instead of reaching for a piece of cake, reach for an apple instead. count calories and keep a journal of the foods you eat and the weight you lose each day. also visit the following sites: mypyramid.com and gohealthy.com. those are great.

Don't quit junk or sugar in one day, give yourself a few weeks to cut down. Gradually increase your water intake. Start small when you exercise, then increase your workouts. Congratulate yourself for small changes, rather than beat yourself up if you don't do everything perfectly.
The best diet for me was just eating protein, complex carbs, vegetables, a little fruit, and some healthy fats, then no sugar, and very little caffeine. I just walk and use some dumbbells for my exercise, and do 20 minutes of stretching.

Breakfast is the biggest meal of my day, then lunch, and a very small dinner. I work out 3x per week burning 500 calories on my elliptical. You need to burn 3500 more calories than you take in to lose 1 pound. It is hard work and it takes time to see results. So, eat less and work out. Even if that means taking a 30 minute walk outside everyday. One more thing, you can buy a pedometer at Wal-mart. Make sure you walk 10,000 steps by the end of the day. You will for sure lose weight!
