Ask:has anyone used spring valley Acai Berry suppliments to help in boosting energy and weight loss REVIEWS
2012-01-05 00:33:03 +0000i'm 5ƌ" and weigh 204lbs.
i've been taking adipex since july and was 214lbs then so i did lose 10lbs but honestly i think the main reason was due to exercising more and not eating as badly and not as much due to the adipex so i just don't think its working for me. (worked great for my sister. she lost about 30lbs in 6 months with NO diet change and NO exercising)
i've been reading a lot about acai berry diet pills but after reading all the other crap they have in them and the fact that they work by "flushing" out your system and "binding" fat so that it goes straight through you causing diarrhea i've opted not to take the acai berry diet pills.
i am considering pure acai pulp extract though.
i'd like some reviews before i start though to see if anyone had any results with boosting energy and helping in weight loss.

2012-01-05 00:52:17 +0000Tried Nature's Answer, Acai liquid with good effects. It is combined with other superfruits with antioxidants. Would try glucomannon or konjac root fiber and green tea supplement as well.

2012-01-05 00:55:58 +0000Acai Berries in moderation have properties of other good berries. They have anti-oxidants and vitamins and in moderate amounts is not harmful to the vast majority of people. But any clain of weight loss is pretty bogus. There are no magic pills. There are fat blockers and carb blockers that have bad side effects that will cut down on nutrient absorption, but these Acai berries are mostly based on false claims in marketing and fake blogs. There is no scientific evidence to support the claims.

Anyone can lose weight by any combination of cutting calorie input and adding exercise, and there are no good shortcuts. There are measured or substitute meals if you need that as a tool, but it does not take magic to know that you need to cut calories while increasing fiber to not feel hungry. A multi-vitamin once a day, plenty of water, eat slowly because it takes 20 minutes to feel satisfied, and replace bad foods with good foods and you lose weight. Most of the pills and supplements only seem to work because they are either causing excess body water loss, or they trigger you to eat better.
I keep trying to explain to people that it took years to get overweight. It cannot be fixed in a couple of months. Look for my long answer here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index…
I outline correct eating, provide nutrition links, and exercise calorie stats.
The best ideal weight data set is here: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht…
Your best weight range is 118 to 155. Trying magic pills will not get you there. Commitment to healthy eating will, and any exercise needs to be gradual from a slow start.
