Ask:Very fast weight loss for morbidly obese woman

I need to lose a massive amount of weight very quickly, at least 30kg for medical reasons, I'm morbidly obese, and am finding it really hard to lose "any" weight, I'm type 2 diabetic and have chronic pain that restricts many forms of excersise, I'm truly not making excuses, I want to do whatever it takes as my Dr told me yesterday that if I keep going this way I'll be dead in 5 years, and that I have a 1 in 4 chance of havig a stroke.....I'm only 35....MOST IMPORTANTLY I don't want to leave my family, I don't over eat, I have about 3 full meals during a 7 day week, and yes I know I have to eat small meals often being diabetic, I just have no appertite, I'm having xrays and ultra sounds of my abdominal and pelvic areas to see if I have an obstruction.......PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN, no need for nasty comments, I hate myself enough as it is.

You need to combine exercise with a healthy diet. You have 3 full meals, but how big are they?
I would recommend tracking your calories - sometimes it can be a real eye-opener!
    I use www.thedailyplate.com, but there's also www.fitday.com, www.sparkpeople.com, etc. They're all free.
The Daily Plate one will give you calorie goals for each day to lose 1 - 2 pounds a week. Unfortunately 2 pounds a week is the max you should lose if you do it in a healthy way.
Don't hate yourself, just find the motivation to lose weight and you'll be fine. Just remember it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change!
EDIT - and please don't listen to the spammers with their cleanses and miracle pills. They don't work for in the long-run and can cause more harm than good.

Ask your doctor about a VLCD program (very low calorie diet). It's a program for people who need to lose a lot of weight quickly for medical reasons i.e. diabetes. I believe you'll be put on some sort of prepared shake, which contains about 800 calories. That's all you'll be consuming per day. I know you're monitored closely by a doctor though out the program. It sounds tough- 800 calories a day, but if you think you can handle it, ask about it. The weight does come off quickly, so you can get down to a reasonable weight and avoid the health risks that come with being morbidly obese. I recommend that you get that, "I have to lose weight fast" idea out of your head. Losing weight should NOT be about being on a diet, but about making a life style change. As you change your life style, you will lose kg.
I recommend the Atkins type diet for you. Being diabetic, that diet reduces the sugars you take into your body and will make it less stressful for you pancreas to regulate your blood sugar. You may even have to take less insulin. Be sure to monitor your blood sugar at least 6 times a day during the first 2 weeks.
I lost 25kg in 5 months on that diet. I want to tell you one trick to this diet though. Take Calcium pills and your vitamins. Sugar is Very addictive and when you cut back on sugar you do get withdrawal symptoms, just like quiting smoking. The calcium pills helps with the withdrawals.
On this diet my blood pressure went down and so did my cholesterol. I ate well and I ate plenty of vegetables. Be sure to drink 4 to 8 glasses of water a day too.
    Good luck.

    Yvette,
You did not get like that overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight.
No one is ever too fat to go to a gym. Get your doctor's approval, and then meet with a trainer. Tell her your goals and your medical/physical restrictions.
Also, have your doctor recommend a nutritionist. With your diabetes, your eating habits will need extra attention.
Best of luck to you, sweetie. It won't be an easy road, but the hardest part is just getting started.

Well, I know it's frowned upon, but the olden days they used to use blood letting to release fluids and that would, in turn, cause you to loose weight. currently, I reccomend cutting your calories and talking to both a fitness expert and a medical doctor for safe ways to loose weight.

This is not meant to be nasty but unless you face the facts you won't succeed. If you need to lose 66+ pounds YOU DO OVEREAT. If you are morbidly obese that 100 pounds to lose not 66!!
GO TO: http://www.mypyramid.gov and put in your height, gender, age, activity level, AND the WEIGHT YOU NEED TO BE. It will tell you what you need to eat to be healthy.
There are exercises for those with limitations. Some can be done sitting ina chair until you get lighter. ALSO once the weight comes off then you can increase the activity. Try websites with exercises for the elderly.

Losing it very fast will be hard on your heart, as well as the rest of your body.
If your have an Herbal Magic weight loss franchise near you, they will help you and support your efforts. Also, I believe fitness centres have weight loss programs as well.
Discipline yourself to stick to a plan...if you keep making allowances you will not succeed.
On the side, exercising on a regular basis has relieved much of my restricting pains. Unbelievable, but better than painkillers and frustration and tears.
