i've been on wellbutrin xl 150 mg for almost two months. In the begining it completely cut my appetite but not so much anymore..I'm just curious is this a side effect that slowly fades away? Anybody else have experience with weight loss/gain ? i still love wellbutrin so im just curious thanks so much

Its known for not causing weight gain like most antidepressants.
And it was shown to have a fairly dramatic affect on weight loss even compared to other prescription weight loss drugs.
But when used to treat obesity its usually given at 300-400 mg.
It certainly helps, alot for weight control, especially craving control.

You know what? I really think it does. i had anorexia about 3 years ago, when i got ''healthy'' again I went from 80 pounds too 150. I could not stop eating and eating and gaining weight. as soon as i went on a low dose of wellbutrin, my appetite went down, it didn't compleately go away but its controlled. I stopped over-eating and eating normally.
Im at a perfect weight , not skinny not fat. 120 pounds (5Ɖ)
