2008-05-30 10:09:16Circuit training should be quite good to trim excess fat otherwise introduce supersets in your weight training gives an amazing pump. Eat carbs only in the morning and try eating more than 3 small meals a day like 4-5 think lots of veg and lean meat.
This is great as you can cook that stuff and it can store well for several days making it easy to prepare and saves on washing.
As for ab excercises 90% is in your diet just find 3 excercises that hit three seperate parts of your abs add extra emphasis on the lower abs as their the hardest part to get results.

2008-05-30 10:07:18At your age, you owe it to yourself and your future family to learn all you can about nutrition and exercise, and then put what you learn into practice. Treat this like it was a course in college and you need an "A." It's that important!
Weight control requires a lifestyle change for most. Limit the junk food, sugared drinks, and alcohol. Learn the calorie content of what you eat. Target your daily cal intake to your bmr plus half burned with exercise. Balance your meals with 50% vegetables, 25% carbs, and 25% meat.
Sit ups are as good a way as any to tone the abs. Research the variation, crunches being one I believe.
Try to find an exercise that you can really enjoy. Cycling does it for many, running and/or swimming for others. That way you're likely to stick with it.
Lifting is great for muscle tone and build. More muscles you got, the higher your metabolism.
Good luck.
