2012-02-03 01:43:17 +0000ok, so i know that weight loss is not an easy task. I have started so many times and then give up because i see little to no results. I need to lose AT LEAST 25 pounds if not 40 pounds by May as I am getting married soon and going on vacation and i just want to be healthier. For the last 2 months I have been eating very well. Lots of fruits, veggies, only whole wheat products, & yogurt. My calorie intake is less than 1300 a day and I drink water like its going out of style. I do wii fit 3 times a week for usually 30-60 mins as well as using weights. In the last month I have only lost like 4-5lbs and cannot figure out why I am not losing more. or seeing better results. I do not have time or money for a gym membership at the moment. can anyone suggest a diet plan or workout that really works?? I am a nanny and usually have a couple hours during the day that I can spend on working out too. Any fitness dvds that actually show results? i need serious advice. btw, I am 24, 5Ǝ and 200lbs.

2012-02-03 01:47:37 +0000The 4-5 pounds you lost, is probably for surely Fat. Which is good, don't eat any less then 1200 calories! But the fastest way to lose fat would be cardio, go for a run. Purchase a skip rope. Anything like that is good for losing weight.

Weight loss can be tricky sometimes, wii fit might not be pushing you hard enough, you have to pick up the intensity on your workouts, and dont cheat on dieting, since your 200 the weight should be falling off. My guess is your workouts arent hard enough

her workouts are 15 minutes, and they are VERY effective. you'll be sore the next day. so that is good for toning, but you'll need to up your cardio to see results. you should be sweating for 30-45 mins a day, at least 4x a week. you don't need a gym or anything crazy. just go outside and walk, and jog when you can. you might feel silly the first few times, but it is SO effective.and there is nothing silly about the scale going down :)
eating is the most important part of weight loss, and your food intake looks pretty good. try calorie zig zagging: switch up your intake every. one day eat 1200, the next day eat 1500, then go back to 1200, then maybe 1400, then back to 1200. this confuses your body into burning more calories because it is used to living off of 1300.
also try and eat your carbs in the am/ or at lunch. (whole wheat carbs, not white) and eat protein after your workouts
good luck!!
