2008-04-28 11:00:32So I have been trying to lose weight for about a month now. I walk on the treadmill for an hour everyday, and sometimes I do weights. I can't run. However, I am stuck eating dorm cafeteria food, making it difficult to eat healthy. Ugh, not to mention the weight I need to lose is in my midsection and thighs, very difficult places to lose. Any ideas?

The residental cafeteria at my school is mostly junk, but I try to make smart choices. Salads, grilled chicken, fruit, vegetables, they usually have a sandwich section with lean turkey meat. Aim for whole wheat breads, drink water instead of sugar, avoid pizza and burgers.
While spot reduction doesn't exist, you are genetically pre-determined to lose weight faster in certain body areas than others. For me, its the stomach. My legs and thighs are the LAST to go. For you, its different. Its about knowing your body, being strong and confident, and making smart decisions. You can do this, I am rooting for you.

drink fresh juice
get detoxification
no junk food
no milk
no yogurt
no soda
drink natural water
sport (like exercise, running, walking, aerobic, swimming)
