Ask:Weight loss diet plan question
2008-01-06 17:04:19I read a few things and I'm trying to get in shape. I have no real goal in weight loss, I just really want to get in shape, tone up, and stay at that point. So to start, I've been doing this everyday, starting 4-5 days ago.
I burn myself out on bicep curls using the only weight I have, a 15 pound dumbell:(
20 reps and 2-3 sets of bicycle curls
15-20 minutes of running in place and jumping jacks.
20 reps of pushups, 2 sets, 1 set of 30 reps of pushups.
This is combined with a 2000 or less calorie diet daily. Before I either hurt myself or get nowhere, I want to know if this is a good plan, and what you guys think I should add to it. Keep in mind that this is the only exercise I get (Internet Junkie)
I'm not really physically out of shape, I've only put on a couple dozen pounds. I'm a muscular in my build, and I've only felt soreness in my legs so far.
I'm 16 years old
Weigh 175-180 pounds
5ƌ", give or take an inch. (lol, short and tubby.)
Thanks for any advice you can give.
Answer:Weight loss diet plan question
2008-01-06 17:20:56The most affective and fastest way of losing weight and getting in shape is to exercise 30-60 minute every morning before you eat breakfast, but make sure you eat adequate amount of food after exercises. the reason to exercise before breakfast is because during the night your body has used up the carbohydrate you'll consumed during to day for bodily functions and when you exercise before you eat you are forced to burn fat instead of carbohydrate(You might fell very tired and fatigue but hang in there no pain no gain) )
and when you are training muscle(lifting weight) make sure You do it every other day, you might think that the more you do the faster your muscles grow, but it's not true, you must give it a day rest before doing it again
Answer:Weight loss diet plan question
2008-01-06 17:08:53I would recommend changing your diet. That is the first step to losing weight. Eat 5-6 small meals a day each with some protein and this will help keep your metabolism at its max. This way you burn more calories. Then I would start an exercise routine. Some cardio and some lifting.
Make sure to have a protein shake in the morning and one right after you workout.
