I started valium for famial tremors and sleep 10mg a night and 5 mg extra as needed I have noticed a small weightloss and headache/small hangover the next morning are these normal side effects?

Not usually. Since people respond differently to meds, it would be a good idea to call your pharmacist about side effects of valium and then call your doctor. The symptoms you describe may be due to medication or something else entirely. Only your doctor can check out your response.
