    Hi, I'm wanting to loose one stone (14 lbs)
    I currently weigh 9st 9lbs
    I'm not overweight - I'm 5Ƌ and my BMI is healthy at 22.5 and UK Size 10.
    However, i would like to loose atleast one stone and my desired weight would be 8st 8lb.
    I'd like to loose weight in a healthy way by eating healhty foods (no faddy diets) and excercise.
    If anyone has any tips on good, healthy foods that boost the metabolism or that are just generally good for weight loss that would be great!
    Also, i'm interested in hearing about any excercise that anybody does and finds fun :)

    It's fine that you want to lose a little weight. My suggestion is to always get a good, big breakfast. Breakfast jumpstarts your metabolism in the morning. Also, try different kinds of exercise to keep yourself interested as well as to keep your body from getting used to one routine. Some options I suggest are biking, hiking, dance, tredmill, elliptical glider, ect.

    I suggest reducing (not eliminating) carbs, making sure the carbs you do eat are whole-grain (wholemeal bread, old-fashioned oatmeal) no white flour foods like burger buns. The whole grains keep you full longer and do not spike your blood sugar. Lean protein like chicken, fish, lean beef, eggs and low-fat milk/yogurt are good, along with lots of veggies (but not potatoes) and a little fruit. This diet will keep you in good health, and will help you lose weight. Good luck!
