2008-05-16 01:21:36I am a college freshman, and I am sure many of you have heard of the "freshman 15." Well I went from a size 2/4, 130 lbs to a size 6/8, 152 lbs. I have been heavily restricting what I eat for a while, and I have been going to the gym for about a month (doing 40-60 min cardio and some weights) 3-5 days a week. I still weigh 145 and don't fit into my old clothes yet. What can I do to speed up weight loss so that I have the confidence to go out in the heat in less than jeans and a long-sleeve shirt? I have a busy schedule with school and work, so I don't have time to live at the gym but I really want my old figure back soon!!! I am willing to try any products, but don't have a lot to spend.

I suggest that you take time to find a good guide on weight loss and dieting. I can recommend one to you and I will post a link to my blog where I talk about issues like these at the bottom.
Think of it like this... if you follow the instructions on the blog weight loss and dieting should only take one attempt. Why go through frustrating struggles and risk injury when you can do it the right way.

2008-05-16 01:43:32I start of by saying you are basically doing the right thing but leave the weights out of your routine because you are going to build up muscle, and muscle weighs heavier than fat.and a cardiovascular workout,you will benefit more from it i say 60Min's in the gym will help you to lose it.also the rowing machine is the best to go on because you burn alto of calories and fat and it tone up all of your body at the same time

2008-05-16 01:34:59Check out Bill Phillips website bodyforlife.com and his book Body For Life for an excellent 'healthy' weight loss plan. There is no magic pill that will take your pounds off, most all of it is a load of crap. If you've only got 15 more pounds to lose then BP's plan will work for you and you should be able to shed it in about a month.. maybe a little more but you'll notice results sooner.
