    I'm 16 years old and my aunt is getting married on the 5th of june and I have to wear a dress! I hate dresses and never wear them but I would love to if I had the body. The last time I wore a dress I looked hideous! I was like a lumpy sack! I am around 5ft 8/9 and have a pear shaped body. My arms are chunky too and I also want some fat off my stomach but the main problem is the wideness of my body and especially my hips, they are massive, especially my thighs. My clothes size is 14/16 and I weigh around 13/14 stone so i am overweight and really need to change! I'd like to say I don't snack on unhealthy foods but sometimes I do. Within the last few months I have changed radically. I eat breakfast (usually only a yoghurt) and then a sandwich for lunch then after school I will sometimes snack on a bag of crisps or some fruit before my tea and then that's It really. I am honestly confused on what I am doing wrong here as I am seeing no change really and I watch what I eat very carefully. I attempt to do exercise for around half and hour to an hour 3 times a week but I often fall behind on that due to need to revise for exams and other important things. I really need some advice and please no lists of specific diets! I dont do the shopping and my parents wont buy all these unusual things Ive never heard of that seem to be on all these YA also there not very useful seeing as you would be eating the same meal every day! so I wanted to know, Is it possible to look better/slimmer by the beginning of June if I put in the effort. My target goal is around a size 10/12 but I have no idea how long it is expected to take whether its months or years. any advice appreciated (except specific set diets) haha

    Hey Random Me,
    Nothing so random, you are in the boat with many others. You will have to just bucke down and exercise. Cardio baby Cardio!! With that amount of cardio every day, you will need carbs. Good carbs like whole grain pasta and brown rice. No cheese only Marinara. Good lean meats not fried, Only use salt and black pepper for seasoning. Drink plenty of water. Lots of salads!!! The crunch of croutons and good lettuce is satifying and good for you.
    You have to just run it off, you should be running every day. Force yourself to get up at five am and run for half an hour every day. Like Nike just do it. Even if you half run and half walk, or mostly walk at first, for the half an hour, its OK. Soon it will be mostly running and less walking. Make your goal ten pounds at a time, 10/12 is nothing for you, you can do it!!!

    Hey girl,
    Im sure like me your way hard on yourself but its really good to work towards a healthier goal. So considering that fact two things I would recommend are find a friend to start on a fitness challenge with, it really helps me stay accountable. Two pick a challenge, something you like! My friend and I started out doing dance workouts to be motivated (online, Netflix, ect.) Finally what has been working best is Doing Just Dance or Zumba on the Wii every morning. Hope that helps:)
