You should be careful with diet pills, but if you must please limit them to natural products. Hoodia seems to work well and does not contain chemicals that are harmful. You need to be sure that you are getting true Hoodia and enough of it to truly make a difference. Try a good health food store. Also, you might suffer from insulin resistance, 70 million Americans are insulin resistant which make it difficult if not impossible to lose weight. Insulin resistance effects even children and is epidemic in the US. You might want to check out a product called Glucofast, which corrects insulin resistance at www.after40weightloss.com. (don't let the after40 scare you, insulin resistance effects all ages). Glucofast is all natural, Dr. approved and it really works. The manufacturer guarantees that if it does not work for you, it is FREE! If insulin resistance is your problem you could drop your weight in a very short time. Good luck.

Pills are a horrible way to do this. Don't take pills, listen, I know how you feel, I really do. But, just cut down on some calories, and work a little harder, take 30 minute-1 hour walks a day or something. Don't worry, you can do it without pills. Trust me!! Good luck!! :)

well, i don't know from personal experience, as i have never tried any weight loss pills. but, Alli would probably work the best as it is the only OTC weightloss treatment (not "supplement") approved by the FDA. you still have to follow a low fat diet, but Alli works by blocking some of the fat that is absorbed in your intestines. they claim you will lose, 50% more weight than you would by just dieting. in other words, if you would lose 10lbs dieting, you'd lose 15lbs dieting with Alli. also, it is just a lower dose of a prescription obesity treatment, which is proven to be effective.
P.S. it is VERY important to follow a low fat diet while taking it (15 grams per meal tops) , or else you might experience some bad side effects. I'm not going to go into details, but if you don't, just make sure you carry a spare pair of underwear with you.
