    I am 13, 150 lbs, and 5Ɖ. I really want to look good in a bikini in the summer of 2007, so I was estimating I'd have to lose about 30 lbs to even fit in one. I need a weight loss plan, like what to eat, or what excercises I should do each day of the week. My current measurements are :
    Waist - 35 in.
    Arms - 14 in.
    Thighs - 23 in.
    Bust - 38 in.
    I heard the average weight for 13 is 112, what are the normal measurements for a 13-year-old? Thanks for helping!

    Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
    Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

    you need to start dieting and exercising. You should see about joining a school sport like track and field. Start going for walks until you could build your tolerance up to start running. Diet is the most important part! cut out all junk food and start eating low carbs and more protein. Also watch your portions, just because its low fat does not mean you could eat all you want. If you drink or smoke, which i hope u don't cuz u r only 13, don't!! Drinking and smoking are the worse things u could do to your body. The good news is that your young, your body is still growing and it will be easier for you to get on the right track of becoming fit and healthy. You have plenty of time to get in shape for the summer. Remember you are what you eat, Stay strong, and don't get discourged, dieting is a life time commitment. LOL

    Okay sweetheart here's what you do,drink sodas only on Fridays, you have to work out at least five days a week, It will be painful @first but then your body will become accustom to working out.Eat lunch a normal size lunch that fills you,that will get you through dinner, eat half portions and a piece of fruit for desert.Don't eat after 11:00pm.Your stomach will start to shrink(internally)and you'll become less hungry.I hope I've helped you a little bit,I want you to achieve your goal,you're so young you can do it because you have the energy..go head girl!!

    First off.....weight is based on height not age. Try eating smaller portions, cutting out sweets, and drinking lots of water. Any exercise is good. The main thing is to exercise on a regular basis. If you cut down on calories and exercise you will lose weight. Good luck.

    3500 calories = 1 pound of fat. You need to burn more calories per day. Even at rest you can burn about 2000 calories per day. The thing is, exercise isn't going to help much because is burns calories but it's what you eat that matters.
    I have lost 4-5 pounds just in the last 2 weeks just by shrinking my meal servings.

    you can go on a diet and do 3 to 5 exersizes a day I went on the southbeach diet and lost 55 pounds in 5 months

    cut out carbs, no more than 20 per day and walk or some kind of exercise,YOU CAN DO IT!!! my fat husband did!!!don't overdo either, that will only make you want to give it up GOOD LUCK

    your moms right and as long as you care what she says to destroy your plans shell be right plenty of exercise and a low fat low carb diet is all that will work it takes months not days dont give up your future depands on it your husband your job all people see is you if your fat your defective if not your ok do you want a welfare husband or a10$ an hour husband or a 100 K a year husband let you mouth and *** decide than dont cry to me if you run out of foodstamps before the end of the month
