Ask:Weight loss pleateaued
2012-02-08 20:05:27 +0000I have lost almost 30 pounds since June and am only 10 more away from my final goal. I work out almost every day, switching up between high-intensity cardio work-outs and low-intensity. Plus free weights and using various different types of circuit equipment. I burn around 600 calories during my cardio daily, plus whatever I'm burning doing weights as well. My diet is pretty strict, around 1200 calories a day. Low carb, no saturated fat, whole grains, skim milk, oats, yogurt, fruits and veggies and lean meats. I weigh myself once a week, and I haven't lost anything in almost a month. In fact, I put on 2 pounds. What can I do to get out of this rutt?

You've plateaued because you routine and eating has stayed the same for too long. Now you need to change something. You probably gained two pounds because you're building muscle. If your diet is the same, then you are teaching your body that it's ok to maintain. Keep building muscle, don't starve yourself, but perhaps replace your whole grains with vegetables. Also, perhaps consider using a fat burner. One that I would recommend is an all natural acai berry supplement. You can get a free trial at www.acaiberryburnweightloss.com
