See a private nutritionist. They will completely customize a diet and excersise program for you and give you the tools to help you stick to it. They will work with your doctor to understand any health issues, specific dietary needs, etc, and formulate the healthiest possible diet for you. They will also give you lots of recipes, meal plans, charts, all kinds of fun stuff. Check with your health insurance...they may cover some or all of the cost. Mine pays for four visits a year, and then I pay for the other two out of pocket.
BTW, I had no luck with Weight Watchers, and later found out from my nutritionist I wasn't getting nearly enough protein or calcium and probably too many carbs for my specific needs on their program.

I would suggest Weight Watchers as it teaches portion control. I know many people who stick to the diet and have had positive results. Find a good group by you--not all the groups are that great.
The other ones you have to buy special pills and meals...and are not sustainable once you stop buying their product. But WW teaches you how to eat properly.
