Eat healthier--less meat, cheese, and other foods with lots of saturated fat (although some fat is important, so don't cut those foods altogether) and more veggies.
Most importantly--breathe. You're 14, so there's a good chance you're still growing, height-wise. Anyone who's making fun of you is going to feel really stupid when they hit puberty and start gaining weight. You're supposed to gain weight at your age--it means you're developing normally.

Exercise is important, walking or jogging can help you in your battle....also eat a lot of vegetables, steamed or cooked and less red meats like hamburger, steak, pork (all too fattening) and try more chicken and fish.....broiled, or cooked...not fried!! Eat way less ready made foods like mac and cheese, chips, pop tarts.....for breakfast eat oatmeal, fruit, cereal without a lot of sugar in it, I hope this helps....talk to your mom if she cooks for you and tell her to help out!!

2007-10-18 16:58:48I'm reading a book right now called Fat Flush. It is a non diet if I ever was on one! I just started Monday and weighed myself this morning. I've lost 5.5 lbs in 3 days?? ok, so most of it must be water weight, I keep telling myself, but worth a try anyway.
You eat real foods. I'm having flank steak with asperagus and green beans for dinner. And that's only because I don't have any peppers, onions and bok choy.
It reprograms your metabolism and flushes out your liver from all the fast food burgers you've been eating. And it is manageable.

By adding fat burning vegtables to your diet such as cabbage, green beans in particular or brocolli will aid in weight loss. Drink 2 glasses of water or drink a natural appetite suppressant like green tea before each meall will help with feelings of being hungury. Stay away from breads and switch to a flat bread like Pita bread. Put all this together with a regular daily walk or excercise program and the weitght will come off. But remember what comes offf quickly will go back on quickly unless you take the time to allow your body to lose the right gradually. The results will have a better chance of being more permenant. There is a diet out there that was develpoed by the Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital that is designed to take off large amounts of weight safely for heart patients, but I have not needed it for 8 yrs.
