    I go to the gym after school. I walk on the treadmill for 5 mins, then jog for 20 mins, then cool down for another 2 mins. I use the elliptical machine for 20 mins. I use the bicycle for 15 mins and the stairmaster for 10 mins. Then I lift weights for for about 5-10 mins. I do this 5 days a week, and the weekends I rest. My starting weight was 230, now I am around 217, and that has been for exercising for 8 weeks. I eat breakfast, mostly like a banana or 2, a small bowl of cornflakes with fat free milk, or 2 slices of bread with egg whites scrambled. For lunch, I eat in school, and I eat salad with a packet of 15 cals dressing (fat free) and 3-4 pieces of tenders, or chicken, but mostly salad. For dinner, I eat maybe one hotpocket, or 6 chicken bites, brown rice with broccoli, brown rice with pepper stew with oxtail, or chicken cutlet with broccoli. For fruits/snacks, I eat banana, apples, pears (love them), or organic yogurt.
    Am I doing good? Have I been doing good so far? My goal is to lose 50 lbs, my stomach is not that big, but the number is alot, so I'm wondering, I have 37 lbs left, how long would it take to lose it?
    How long would it take? Is it good that I lost 13 lbs?
    ***********Also, I noticed I have worked out harder, but then on the scale, it shows that I haven't lost any, but my pants fit looser. Is it because I'm gaining muscle or because I'm not really losing?
    And then the next day it says that I gained weight back, so should I care about the number alot also? I work hard to lose it them it seems to take long. I feel like giving up because I feel maybe I'm not working hard enough and that I'm never really going to lose this weight.
    My clothes get looser, the scale either stays the same or goes down then back up to make me seem like I gain more weight, I have eaten a few candy and soda, I mean I have been exercising 3-5 days a week for 8 weeks and from 230, it went to 225, then 218 back to 222 and I become depressed because I care for the number and feel I'm wasting my time, I'm 5Ɗ" and I don't look how much I weigh, I feel what I do isn't working and that I'll never lose my 50 lbs, I just don't know but I've been crying, feeling like giving up, and just remaining the same. What should I do?

    You weight will fluctuate so don't be disheartened when this happens, your routine is working if you have lost weight.

    Hey, well I think your diet and fitness plan is amazing! Might even follow it myself ) You shouldn't worry about how much you weigh because when you do more excersize, you gain more muscle, which weighs a lot more than just fat. If you notice a change in the way you look (for the better) then stick to it! & One day every 3 weeks you should have a not calorie counting day where you eat whatever you want (in moderation because you dont want to put all of it back on!) and you will look forwards t oit.
