    6 days a week..i did weigh around 186lbs max at 5ྗ/2 now im 131lbs....i recently dropped this weight in 6 weeks consuming only 1,000 cals a day and 20g of carbs...little did i know i was forming an eating disorder..i didnt purge..but i was starving myself...now my bench went from around 225lbs to 100lbs... im VERY VERY VERY weak...i am just now recovering with help and trying to get back to the healthy weight i was at....i lost 95% of my muscle mass and i look terribly thin now..i used to have a buff body now im just scrawny....how come my strengthwent down so dramatically??????...im still working out but any tips for getting my strength back to where it was?..IS it NORMAL to lose this much strength and muscle mass..please help

    ya dude u lost way to much muscle way to fast.... go on a diet that has u eating at least twice ur wieght in carbs while keeping up cardio, to make sure ur getting the right carbs look up the glycemic index and compare the food your eating....get ur calories up to about 4000 a day and don't be afraid of fats because that's whats goin to increase your testosterone in your body and in turn ur strength, just dont get to much saturated or trans fat. you should to be about 175 pounds...i have friends that exact size and they are in good shape and have good size and strength. i will say tho during this whole thing concentrate on ur diet more then ur strength, if u get ur weight up,,,,your strength will come...when i was 17 i went from 165 up to 195 in 3 months supplement free minus protien and a multivitamin, so i know it works, and believe me the strength came eventually
    one last note if you do try to lose wieght again stick to a carb cycle and carido....a carb cycle is when u stick to 50-70 carbs for 2 days (this is low carb, 20 is ridiculous, congrats on achieving that though, i'd be miserable), the go to 2 days of 100-200 carbs(moderate carbs), and one day where u eat basically crazy carbs and fat up to 500 carbs, then continue....this diet is very managable and it helps yuor insulin level to maintain muscle while lossing fats and there are other variations of it

    Well if your body has already once experienced big strength, it shouldn't be terribly difficult to get it back. Try eating lots of meats and dairy accompanied with slightly-intense working out. That should get you back in a hurry.

    If you starve yourself, the first types of weight you lose are water and muscle mass. That was basically what happened. From watching Oprah, her fitness guru's advice is to stop eating at a certain time of day. 7:30 at night is a good time to stop eating until breakfast. Have breakfast be the biggest meal and then lunch. Have dinner be the smallest meal. Never skip any meals. As for building muscle mass, try some protein drinks or eat lean protein meats, like fish and chicken. This will help you keep off the weight as well as build muscle.

    If Your Working Out Great...but there actually has to be meat and fat to be working out..if yur extrememly skinny and working out, eat a little more to balance it out..for example protein bars are helpfull before working out.

    If you did not have fat on your body to start with then you starting cutting your cals. in half an you body was use to taking in somuch more so you where burning about 2,000 a day...and then you had no fat so it had to burn it some where else so it used your muscle plus you where trying to get more muscle. and it just made you weak and you ody was shutting down.
