I am getting ready to start seeing a nutritionist and doctor that specializes in weight loss and overall health management. After lots of research, I found that the facility I will go to often prescribes either Adipex-P, Bontril or Tenuate in the pill form and also offers HCG (Chorionic Gonadatropin) in an injection form. Does anyone have any experience using any of these drugs. I'm not asking for people to bash me or say negative things here, just honest stories of success or not. I am only using to jump start weight loss after a long battle with fertility issues, drugs, and procedures that caused me to gain over 45lbs in less than a year. I am a very healthy person, work out and eat healthy, but pushing 40 and my hormones are out of whack for all I've been through the past year. Thanks in advance for everyone's responses.

Short Answer - None, because they don't work. Nearly every diet pill on the market is not approved by the FDA. In fact, many of them are even considered a public health hazard and being pulled off the market by the FDA. Diet pills are nothing more than a marketing ploy designed by Big Pharma for one reason - TO GET YOUR MONEY, nothing else.
Example - One popular "diet supplement" is Hydroxycut. The idea behind it is that it is supposed to increase your basal metabolic rate as well as provide a sudden "boost" of energy. Well, what they don't tell you is that the active ingredient in Hydroxycut is ephedrine. In case you don't know, ephedrine is also the active ingredient in crack cocaine. As a result, numerous users were suffering from heart problems such as palpitations, cardiac dysrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), and even cardiac arrest.
Also, you mentioned you were seeing a nutritionist and a "weight loss doctor." Any doctor or nutritionist worth a salt will tell you the same thing I'm about to tell you - diet pills are not only ineffective, but extremely dangerous, and you should avoid them at all costs. The best way to lose weight and get in shape - a good old fashioned lifestyle of healthy eathing, exercise, and a healthy attitude.
