Many of the people in the US are extremely impatient. They want 3 minute eggs in a minute and 43 seconds. They frequent Jiffy Lube, Speedee Wash, and One Hour Photo Processing. We make instant coffee in a microwave oven and drive at 75 - 100+ miles per hour in a 65 zone. Is it really a surprise that many among us want to loose 200 pounds in 30 days without changing our routines.
It is the instant generation, we want it easier and as far as speed goes yesterday was not nearly soon enough.

We want stuff quick and easy!
