Nope. I lost weight the cheap way. Healthy eating and exercising. I didn't count calories or measure meals. I just replaced all the junk in my house with lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. And I replaced all my drinks with water. I exercised for 1 hour everyday. And one month later I shed 15 pounds.

I did Jenny Craig (and am back on it again after letting myself slip over the last 5 years). It's great. The food tastes really well and was easy to follow. The only thing that sucked was the prices. They say it's only $7-10 a day but it adds up QUICK and that doesn't include the stuff you have to buy yourself like milk and salad and fruit.
I've heard weight watchers is good and cheap but that you have to be really motivated and really good and keeping on track in order for it to work. With Jenny, everything is planned out for you so you don't really have opportunity to screw up.
    Good luck!

I have never been on weight watchers myself, but my mom and some friends of mine got on it and they lost a ton of weight and fast! I think they paid a 20 membership fee, and its 12 a week when and if you want to go to the meetings. All and all I would def recommend this program. Good luck and I hope this helps :)
By the way weight watchers is the most affordable diet I have ever seen. It is also very healthy. You eat whatever you want, but you just have to count points.

i've been on many diets/eating plans... i joined weight watchers 3 separate times and it honestly did work. i think actually going to the weekly meeting and knowing you were going to be weighed in by a professional who won't judge you really does give you some much needed motivation. it's nice to hear other people's stories and helpful hints and to just know that you're not alone doing it. the first time i went i lost around 30-40 lbs in about 6 months. the second time i went i don't remember how much i lost but i didn't stick with it and i ended up running into the meetings and taking off right away so i fell way off track. the last time i went i lost almost 30 lbs in about 4 months and the only reason i stopped was because they had a trial program going on at my job and it wasn't extended.
i would recommend anyone to give weight watchers a try. you can even attend a meeting for free:

i don't recall exactly how much it was but it certainly didn't break the bank and truthfully, worth every penny.
