2007-04-13 11:55:47o.k. here is the thing, people and i mean it seems like everyone is loosing grip on reality when it comes to wieght loss. diets are to the point of making me mad, most do more harm than good. see what you eat is not near as important as how you use it. here is a fact, and remmeber this because as i just said it is fact. there is only one thing that burns fat...only one....it's called muscle. thats is fact. even cardio, yep your heart is a muscle.. and your body when hungry will first burn muscle first if it is not in use... so dieting without excersise is a step back wards. seriously.. and i have heard "but i dont want to be a muscle women/man" i'll tell you what when you start to look that way back off, i''ll garantee by then you will be skinniy. And its not hard seriously, just focus on using muscles, and you'll start loosing inches. i say inches because muscle wieghts more than fat, so initiallly you may gain wieght, but loose inches, and that is something to get excited about. Because that means you have more fat buring potential. and the inchest will go faster. Eventually you will balence out and the wieght will drop. Why do you think it was easier when you were younger?, it's not age, it's strength.
It can be anything lift your hands over your head till your arms are tired. hold your leg out straight till its tired, press on the wall, stand on your toes... these are things you can do anywhere anytime that will help strengthin your body..and ultimately make you loose wieght.. Trust me its fact. the problem is society is lazy, new inventions make life easier and easier, thats why as a whole we are getting fat because life is requiring less strength.

2007-04-13 11:48:34eat in moderation,proportion,drink lots of water, do cario 3-4 times as week as well as weights-combo of both=muscle. cook healthier versions of your fave foods, indulge once in a while=eat 1-2 cookies vs 6 of them!i do cardio dance classes as well as cardio,kickboxing and bosu 3 times a week-4 times/week. the best way to lose weight is not to go on a diet but rather make a change in the way you live-a healthy life!cook with olive oil vs regular..use a nostick skillet and you do not need any butter or oil,drink water before you eat your meal-makes you fuller-eat the reduced fat peanut butter vs the regular kind and carry with you healthy snacks: apples and peanut butter or celery sticks, carrots and various fruits which are good for you. also do not skip any meals or lower your caloric intake to a ridiculous amt. like less than 1200 cals because your body will do in starvation mode. also mix up your work out routine!walk vs taking the elevator, park your car far away when shopping,read the labels and be aware of the fat=total and saturated, cholesterol, and sodium. if you do not have time to cook all the time i reccomend getting some Stouffers pizza-one pizza is 5 grams of fat and less than 350 cals!also healthy choice have some of the best meals and their ice cream -98%fat free is delicious and tastes like reg ice cream too!once in a while have a burger but do not do it all the time!

Take two tablespoons of vinegar before lunch and dinner.
Drink 3 cups of green tea a day i.e one cup every 4-5 hours.Do NOT add any sugar in it.Try to drink it unsweetened and if you find it too bitter to drink , add one tablet of an artificial sweetener.
Drink metamucil with cold water first thing in the morning and half hour before lunch and dinner.
